Situated in one of the most cosmopolitan neighbourhoods in Australia, it is a vibrant inner-urban community with grand old Art Deco buildings and harbour-side parks. It's walking distance to the city through the Botanic Gardens. Our home is well designed, comfortable, clean, secure and fully equipped with everything you will need. Welcome to our gorgeous apartment in the heart of Sydney's most stylish neighbourhood, Elizabeth Bay/Rushcutters Bay. The apartment is located on the entry level of a secure building, faces north with tranquil garden views. Although very central the apartment is located in a quiet, leafy street. The studio is fashionably decorated and is styled with captivating and dynamic contemporary Australian Indigenous art. Our apartment comfortably fits two people with a real (and comfortable) queen size bed, but can easily accommodate a 3rd guest on the large sofa. On arrival please make yourself at home. I have left a tray with essentials bread, milk, etc or there is a bottle of Australian wine in the fridge. Designed and equipped for Airbnb visitors, the apartment is surrounded by walking streets, shopping, cafes and restaurants in an attractive village style area. The weekend markets are full of organic produce, quirky street shopping & more great coffee! Metro buses & trains are only minutes away, although it's only a short walk to the city and surrounds. The apartment is 5 minutes walk to harbour side, Beare and Rushcutters Bay parks, tennis courts and marina. It is 5 - 15 minutes walk to galleries, and the retail and restaurant precincts of Darlinghurst, Surry Hills, Woolloomooloo and Potts Point. We provide a computer/internet/wi fi/television for use, plus a few notable books and guides that will introduce you to Australian/Sydney life and culture. The kitchen has ample cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, oven, microwave, large fridge, dishwasher and essential foodstuffs for your visit. Towels and fresh linen are provided and the bathroom is stocked with a variety of toiletries and many handy items to enhance your visit if you should need them. The bathroom includes a washing machine/dryer & hairdryer and powerpoint in the cupboard. There is a very long full length mirror in the hallway. The apartment is comfortable, well appointed, clean and safe. There is also a roof top garden area for views of surrounding regions and embodies an outdoor, more casual roof-top garden atmosphere. You will have the entire apartment to yourselves. We will try to meet you as you arrive to give the grande tour plus leave you the keys. However, my busy academic schedule precludes being available all of the time. I visit the Western Desert regularly. Details will be provided at time of booking. There is one set of keys, two keys to the set. Please leave the keys on the kitchen bench when you leave. We will always be available via phone or email (even when we are outside of Sydney metro region). In the event of an emergency, you will find a list of contact details in the house manual. I'm available on email, text message or by phone (if I'm not in a meeting!). I pride myself on being responsive. Within easy reach of Sydney's cultural attractions, but sheltered in picturesque surroundings, Elizabeth Bay is a relaxed neighbourhood with a wonderful array of boutique shops, noteworthy restaurants, cosy cafes, and organic farmers' markets. The apartment is set in a quiet leafy street in an inner-city area of Sydney, about two kilometres east of the CBD, central to the fashionable suburbs of Potts Point, Elizabeth Bay, Rushcutters Bay, Kings Cross and Darlinghurst. Walk just about everywhere. I prefer to walk everywhere - is the perfect place to start exploring what the city has to offer. Transport options are abundant. Bus stop is located 2 mins from the apartment. Kings cross train station is a short 5min stroll from the studio and there is abundance of taxis around. Plenty of choices! Although designed for the comfort of Airbnb visitors, the small studio apartment is also treated as our home away from home. As my daughter (in New York) and myself (Hawkesbury region on the outskirts of Sydney) frequently stay in Sydney, we have endeavoured to make the space as comfortable and stylish as possible for our stopovers and short breaks. We hope that our guests enjoy it as much as we do. Bright Urban Studio with Private Courtyard

This is a self contained private room, with your own kitchenette, bathroom and courtyard, in a very handy location, minutes walk to the city, shops, restaurants and transport. You will be in Chippendale, there is plenty of good cafes, funky restaurants, bars and art galleries around, including the world famous White Rabbit Gallery. The house is a 7 minute walk to Redfern Station or 10 minutes to Central train Station, 20-50 min walk to the city, and is very close to Broadway Shopping Centre and Central Park where you can do your shopping. It is only a 20 minute walk to the buzzing Newtown, Surry Hills and Darling Harbour with all of their restaurants and pubs . Also at walking distance is Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA), Sydney University (USYD), University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and Carriageworks. It is very easy to get to all Sydney's major attractions from here - you are one easy 15 min bus ride or train ride away from the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. It takes minutes to drive to Bondi and many other beaches as well as National Parks. From the airport it is only a 20 minute drive, or a short train ride. This place has everything you need to have a lovely and comfortable stay: - wi-fi Internet; - 39-inch Smart TV, so that you can log into your Netflix, Stan and others apps to watch your favourite movies and videos; - kitchen with all appliances, including fridge, 2 burner cooktop, and a oven/microwave; - a washer/dryer and iron; - queen size bed with super comfy memory foam mattress; - if you would like to sleep separately to your travel partner the sofa bed can be made for a small fee of $25 on request; - portacot, high chair and baby bath are available on request if you are travelling with a little one; - all bed linen and towels are provided. We are looking for someone who will appreciate this place and and take good care of it. Please note: -This studio is a few steps below street level, so you will need to go down a few steps. If you wish to stay for a shorter or longer period of time send me a message and we can work something out. Entire room, with a kitchenette, bathroom and courtyard all for yourself. I give my guests space, but I am always available for questions and can run over should they need anything. Chippendale is a small underground, creative, and funky suburb. It is home to cafes, art galleries, restaurants, bars, parks, and a big sustainable community that keeps verge gardens full of fruit, vegetables, and herbs for all to share. It is super easy to get around by bike, or simply by foot (note it is a 20-50 minute walk into the city depending on where you are going). There are 2 train stations walking distance from the house, Central Station (+or- 11 min walk) or Redfern Station (+or- 7 min walk), There are also buses all around. Street Parking is available, it is paid and time restricted to 1-2 hours during the day. At night it is free and unlimited. There are some free all day parking a short walk away. To get to the house from the Airport the 2 easiest options are: Train - AU$17 per person. It comes every 5 to 10 minutes and it takes about 10-15 minutes into Redfern or Central, then you have to walk for about 10 minutes to the apartment. Taxi - the easiest option and most cost effective if there is more than 1 of you. It costs between $25-$40 and it takes about 20 minutes (allow a little more time to get into and from the International Airport).

We have renovated this old shop top unit in Marrickville to create a spacious and light filled apartment. The rooms are very large with lots of original features. The bedroom is located behind the living room so it is nice and quiet . It has an amazing king size bed and an enormous built in robe.The living room has a very large three seater lounge plus chaise which makes for very comfy sleeping !
