Rakennus sijaitsee samalla tontilla omakotitalon kanssa kuitenkin täysin erillään ja omalla sisäänkäynnillä. Läheltä löytyvät: sairaalan palvelut 1,4km, S-market (auki 24/7) 700m, apteekki, ravintoloita sekä hiihtoladut/lenkkipolut alkavat takapihalta. Vieraalla on käytettävissä kaksi polkupyörää. A cozy 55.5 square meter triangle in the center of Joensuu, close to the main library, Arena and the university. The nearest grocery store is just 100 meters away. Sleeps six people. The apartment is located on the first floor of an apartment building, but not on the ground floor. The equipment includes towels, bed linen, soap, hair dryer, drying washing machine, basic cooking utensils, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, coffee and kettle, toaster, 55-inch smart TV and WiFi.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Docent's Flat

New (September 2023) apartment in the center of Joensuu, 500 meters from the university. Fully furnished, ideal for both short-term and long-term stays. The studio is for 2 persons, but can accommodate up to 4 people: additionally we can add 1 cot + fold-out bed for extra 50 euro, agreed in advance. Pool 600 meters away, cafe 200 meters away, market 1 km away, train station 2 km away. Spacious balcony, elevator, private parking with heating and charging. Perfect for convenience and comfort.

Grandma's cottage with sauna

A 100-year-old log cabin with amenities in the courtyard of the main house for year-round living. For guests staying several nights during the heating season, in addition to electricity, there is oven heating. Wood is ready, guidance or heating if needed. Good road connections. Outokumpu is about 10 minutes away and Joensuu is about 30 minutes away. Koli is about an hour away and Valamo Monastery is about 30 minutes away by car. In addition, there is a dog cage outside with a small hut.

Welcome to relax in our courtyard sauna, on the shore of the lake! Although the small, stylish sauna house is part of our inhabited yard, you will find peace, nature, privacy and wonderful views here. The property is also great for telecommuting! The beach in Lahti is shallow and well suited for children. A rowboat and a SUP board are available. Bring your own linen and towels. If necessary, however, linen can be arranged from the accommodation.

This cozy apartment with cooling air conditioning and sauna is located close to the central hospital and the AMK campuses. Parking space. Check-in is effortless thanks to the key box. The beds in the two bedrooms are ready-made and the sofa bed can be used as an extra bed for a third person. In the kitchen cabinets you will find coffee, tea, spices, etc. for our guests. In summer, you can enjoy coffee on your own terrace!

The house is part of an old farmyard. The finnish-german couple welcomes its guests the year round, for only one night or for longer stays. The farm and its surroundings offer plenty of activities. The farm hosts a model railway, a farm museum and an organic beekeeping with honey sale. You may book the farm sauna for your own use. Swimming at the lake on demand.
