Built around 1906, this loft apartment in downtown Lincoln has been fully renovated with new everything. New hardwood floors, new furniture, new kitchen, new exterior balcony, new plumbing, new wiring, new everything! Having said that, all the historic charm of this historic "post rock" limestone building have been maintained including an exposed brick wall and an original skylight along with salvaged wood and doors.
“Second story loft-type accommodations that are comfortable and very roomy. Very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen. You have to climb relatively steep stairs to the entrance, so that should be a consideration for those with mobility issues. Otherwise, we were extremely satisfied with our stay.”
It is a 1907 bungalow that has been completely remodeled but maintains the historical charm. Has a wrap around front porch for watching the beautiful Kansas sunset. This charming house is within walking distance to Salina Community Theater, Stiefel Theater, many restaurants, grocery store and many other downtown shops. Tony’s Event Center and River Festival only half mile away. The drive way is shared with my neighbors so please park on street. Nightly, Weekly and Monthly rates. Quite street
“The minute we pulled up to this historic bungalow, I immediately fell in love. The home radiates charm and welcoming from every square foot. It felt like we were staying in a “tiny castle”. At least that’s what my kids thought I said when I mentioned “time capsule”. Everything was very clean and well kept. And the personal touches that Bruce added did not go unnoticed! We would love to stay here again in the future.”
My place is a historic limestone building with a loft, located on my family farm. One mile away from the interstate and 6 miles north of Ellsworth, you’ll love its convenience as much as its coziness, history, and quaint charm. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers that are looking for a unique experience in the country that isn't too far off the beaten path. This is a private building near the main farmhouse with its own living space, kitchenette, bathroom, and loft bedroom (queen).
“*****INDOOR PHOTOS DO NO JUSTICE*** We would love to return to what I call Little Rock House On The Prairie. Even in middle age, I felt like Laura Ingals-Wilder from “Little House on the Prairie”, but with far more cozy amenities (great bed & pillows, plenty coffee, snacks, and a pristine, manicured yard that only results from machines. Linda was the perfect host, nearby though leaving us with full privacy indoors & outdoors. A fan “hiding” in the corner of the loft was a special touch (so many of us sleep with a fan 😊). Each square foot inside is decorated most thoughtfully. A+, Linda.”
