Directly in front of the apartment are hiking trails that will lead you to the Waldbach waterfall, for example. Stay on the Jakobsweg and enjoy the views of Lake Constance, Lake Zurich or the Säntis. In 25 minutes you can reach the Säntis or the seven Churfirsten as well as the Thur waterfalls by car. There is space for your car as well as bicycles.

Active leisure enthusiasts will also get their money's worth in our area. Various bike tours, swimming lakes (5), hiking routes & interesting boat trips, promise a great break. Cities such as Zurich, St. Gallen & Lucerne can be reached in about 1 hour by car. The great chocolate factories inspires young and old. You are very welcome!

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

The lovingly furnished 3rd 5 room vacation home in the middle of nature, high above the Neckertal offers a magnificent panoramic view with all-round visibility. It is quietly located and you can relax well in the garden, by the tiled stove or fireplace. It has free Wi-Fi and is also suitable for home office. The Neckertal is a romantic, dreamy valley with many hiking and biking opportunities and is located between the two tourist destinations Appenzellerland and Toggenburg.

Our paradise invites you to relax. The guest room and bathroom as well as the living room (where there is a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle) are located in the attic with beautiful views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES Our cat also lives in the attic, which shares the bathroom and the living room. It has a parking in front of the house and a seating area with a fireplace. An oasis of calm, simple, natural and homely. There is a 2 bedroom apartment in old farmhouse with wood stove, a small kitchen and a bathroom. In addition, there are 2 rooms in the attic, one with a wood-burning stove. The house is radiation-free, there is no mobile network, no Wi-Fi, Internet access is available via cable! The house is surrounded by a large garden with cozy places to relax and enjoy. An ideal starting point for walking and biking.

GöttiFritz - 360-degree views with breakfast

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space with a living area of around 125 m² surrounded by nature. Your exclusive getaway with 360-degree views of Säntis/Lake Constance and yet so close to attractions such as St.Gallen/Appenzell. This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

Vegetarian vacation home with charm

The vacation home is in a quiet location. On the ground floor there are spacious lounges with a terrace facing east. Please note that the house can only be used vegetarian. On the 2nd floor there are 3 bedrooms, whereby one bedroom is a passageway for the bedroom behind it. The wooden house is cozily furnished with wooden furniture and has everything you need for a nice stay. Games available for all ages.

Experience and inhabit paradise

Charming gazebo with double bed (sofa bed) and bathroom. To heat the cottage, light the fireplace, and cozy warmth is guaranteed! In summer, a dormitory is also available in the barn, e.g. for families. A kitchen is available, about 20 m from the cottage. On request, we provide breakfast for an extra charge of CHF 13 per person, which must be paid in advance as we have unfortunately had bad experiences.

The cozily furnished studio (first floor) is located at 800 meters above sea level in a quiet residential area. From the sunny seating area you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Alpstein (Säntis). A grill bowl is available there. The bus or Appenzellerbahn train can be reached within a 10-minute walk. Within 10 km there are various leisure facilities (mini golf, swimming pools, hiking, skiing, biking).
