In the cottage on the shore of Höytiäinen, you can spend your vacation by a unique lake landscape. The wood-fired sauna has gentle steam and a view of the lake. Underfloor heating and a fireplace provide warmth in winter. Cooking with an Airfryer, in the microwave, or on the terrace with a gas grill. Drinking water is available directly from the kitchen faucet. The guest has access to the entire cottage, which has sleeping accommodations for two, a sauna, a toilet, and a small kitchen. An air-source heat pump ensures a suitable indoor temperature. 13 km to the city center. 9 km to grocery stores.

Rantamökki

Beautiful sauna cabin (floor area approx. 39 square meters) on the shore of the clear water of Valkealampi! It sleeps four people. The cottage has a sandy beach, in winter an ice hole. You can ice fish or fish in the summer. You can jump into the water from the lovely steam of the wood sauna. Relax in the tranquility of nature. Nearby you will find, among other things, Kontiolahti's ski slopes and trails, biathlon stadium, Paihola's frisbee golf course, summer café (about 6 km), Pielisjoki and Joensuu (21 km) and Koli National Park (about 54 km) services and activities!

Self-service two-room apartment in the center of Joensuu. Cozy, sauna apartment in a house, glazed balcony for evening sun and central but quiet location: 1km to the market, 500m to the university. Parking space in the courtyard, plus 8h parking spaces on the street (8 am - 6 pm). NOTE: Self-service, which means you take care of the sheets and cleaning yourself. Please leave the apartment as clean as it was when you arrived. Bring your own sheets or you can borrow them from the closet. Wash and dry the borrowed sheets before departure 🙂✨

Villa Myyry villa on the shore of Pielisjoki

Villa Myyry is a cozy and well-equipped villa on the shores of Lake Pielisjoki in the village of Paihola, Kontiolahti. The villa has 77 m downstairs and a large loft. The location is in a quiet rural environment.  The driveway is right up to the door and there is plenty of parking space in the yard. Allergy-friendly, pets are prohibited. You can access the cycling trail directly from the yard or go snowshoeing on the ice of Pielisjoki. The ski resort Kontiolahti Biathlon is about 10 km away. The landlord lives next door.

Alapihan Arboretum guest house with sauna

Cozy guest house and sauna in a wild tree species park. There are about 250 different species of woody trees and shrubs in the two-hectare area. The trees were planted in 1970 and form their own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is still partly in its natural state and renovation is being done in the area. For those interested, we will be happy to introduce the arboretums during the visit. The household includes two Lapphunds, a cat, a rooster and 6 hens. Breakfast available

Studio apartment in a peaceful area in Niinivaara

Siisti 21m² yksiö sijaitsee puiston reunalla rauhallisella Niinivaaran omakotitaloalueella. Rakennus sijaitsee samalla tontilla omakotitalon kanssa kuitenkin täysin erillään ja omalla sisäänkäynnillä. Läheltä löytyvät: sairaalan palvelut 1,4km, S-market (auki 24/7) 700m, apteekki, ravintoloita sekä hiihtoladut/lenkkipolut alkavat takapihalta. Vieraalla on käytettävissä kaksi polkupyörää. Log cabin by a clear water lake

Small log cabin with spectacular lake views. There is an extendable bed (2x80cm) in the cabin, as well as a kitchenette (running cold water). Sheets and towels provided. Electricity. Rent includes private use of a spacious wood burning sauna by the lake, about 2h per day (sauna also used by the owners). You can book your slot at arrival. Access to hot water in sauna (heated by wood). Dry toilet next to the sauna. Use of a rowing boat. Cabin is located 50 meters from the house of the owners.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Small house on the shore of Pielisjoki

A small house on the banks of the Pielisjoki river. 12km to the center of Joensuu and 7km to Kontiolahti Biathlon Stadium. In the yard, a wood-burning barrel sauna with a landscape window and a lot. From your own dock, you can take a dip! Use of the hot tub is included in the booking price. In the yard, there is a tennis/small game field. This place is perfect for both relaxing and active vacations – ski and outdoor trails nearby. Ask about the possibility of an extra bed if needed!
