Experience the real France. Large sixteenth century house, small sunny and secluded garden, barn. Modern bathrooms and a very high comfort rating with guests e.g. "Best equipped house I have ever stayed in." (August, 2016). Great village with shops, a cafe. Excellent for visiting the Mediterranean beaches, Carcassonne, the Pyrenees, and the Minervois vineyards. Nearest airports Carcassonne (15 mins) and Toulouse (1h 20). Former textile workshop rehabilitated into a warm family home. Its spacious and elegant main room made up of 12 walls is lit from sunrise to sunset. Located 30 minutes from the Monts d'Olmes ski resort, 20 minutes from Lake Montbel and close to the Cathar castles (20 minutes in Montségur) and 2 minutes from the greenway. We recommend walks to Roquefixade, the Frau gorges or the Fontestorbe fountain and a few summer evenings at the Roquefort waterfalls reception.
