If there are two of you, you can choose between two bedrooms: – the darker, cozy moon room – or the bright sun room with a large skylight and views of the starry sky. The house is surrounded by hedges on all sides and is therefore pleasantly private. It gets very quiet here, especially in the evening. You can reach the center of Jena in about 7 minutes by car.

The house is located in the middle of the Thuringian Slate Mountains, in the immediate vicinity of the Hohenwarte reservoir, the ideal area for hiking, biking or canoeing.

Barrier-free apartment in our single-family house in rural idyll in East Thuringia near the Saale dams, the Plothener ponds on the A9 exactly between Berlin and Munich. The Saalfeld fairy grottoes, the Leuchtenburg near Kahla, Jena, Gera, Weimar are not too far away. Here you can hike (the roads are also wheelchair accessible), watch animals or simply relax on the terrace. Infants up to 2 years old and children up to 6 years old are welcome.
