Lucita Farm is home to two beautiful guest houses in the heart of the Rift Valley. This three bedroom cottage is perfect for a family break in the most tranquil of settings within Kenya's beautiful Rift Valley. Through the abundant Acacia trees you can take in Lake Naivasha's glistening waters while enjoying sundowners on the veranda, by the pool or down by the lake. Also on the farm is a floodlit tennis court that can be used, please bring your own racket and balls.
“The farm house is Homely , cool and fresh ambience, windows all around for good natural lighting in the rooms. The rooms were spacious and have such a homey atmosphere, a plus is that there is a nice tub and outdoor shower in one of them. Well manicured grounds, a well maintained pool. The trampoline brought such a nice twist of laughter, the children in us came out. Nice tennis court. Victoria was the perfect host, eas to communicate with and she also connected us with an amazing chef who made the stay so enjoyable with such delicious food.!! Overall a perfect gateway for families with kids. Small note: follow the written directions instead of the pinned location on the site, the pin got us lost a bit.”
Our lovely lake side cottage is a perfect spot for a family holiday or a group of friends wanting to escape the city. It is set on private land and has direct access to the lake edge, you can walk around and enjoy the lake breeze and there are some gorgeous spots for picnics by the lake or early evening walks. We have an abundance of wildlife around the cottage.
“This is one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed in. The house itself is beautiful, with large, comfortable rooms and a wonderful terrace where we had breakfast every day. The staff helped us to get fresh herbs and salad from the garden. The location is spectacular, with a stunning view of the lake, especially from the veranda on the second floor. We had zebras grazing in the garden and made great friends with the two dogs on the property. At night, we could hear the hippos in the water. We also appreciated all the local tips we got from Victoria and the communication we had with her. We spent four days at The Cow Shed, but we wish we could have stayed longer.”
Unique abode set within a lakeside game sanctuary in Naivasha. At The Folly you can relax and unwind whilst enjoying the animals grazing, or why not take a walk to the lake edge for a lovely picnic spot with views of hippo sunning themselves in the shallows. This house has one bedroom with a double bed. It is fully self catering but we do have cleaning staff around if you need an extra pair of hands.
“One of the best places we have stayed in Kenya! We were greeted by the very friendly and helpful Janet who showed us around. The accommodation is simple but beautiful with everything one could need for a short stay. The property is conveniently located near most of the local activities and restaurants and the host's tips were very informative. However, the most amazing thing about this place is the location itself - the property is is located on the lakeside and is like a beautiful little savannah with lots wildlife roaming (giraffes, zebras, gazelles, waterbucks, dikdiks and loads of hippos). These can be seen from the Folly itself and also a little closer as you walk around the property.”
