Take a trip to the many springs that the area has to offer for swimming or world class cave diving.

The primary bedroom includes a private door leading to the covered back porch, where you can unwind and enjoy breathtaking views of the lake. For outdoor enthusiasts- the Suwannee River, parks & trails are minutes away. The area is also home to many crystal-clear freshwater springs (Ichetucknee, Troy, Ginnie) & is less than an hour from the Gulf 😎

Papa Joe’s Lake House

Quiet little piece of heaven on earth. Enjoy the lake, sit by a fire, enjoy the nature God has provided in our sanctuary on Pickett Lake. Boat ramp is 100 yards down the road. 4 kayaks, canoe, and paddleboard are provided, all of which can be launched from the house. Fish from the dock or explore the lake. Use the grill or take a short drive to Branford or Mayo and enjoy some of the restaurants. Come boat, fish, or swim in the lake or just enjoy the lake view. Outdoor fire pit includes wood.

River levels vary throughout the year, feel free to reach out for a clear water forecast of the springs before booking!

River Retreat

In the heart of Florida's cave diving region. Located right on the Suwannee River. Near by attractions; Royal Spring with Boat Ramp; 4 miles; Little River Spring; 8 miles;Troy Spring; 17 miles; Blue Hole Spring; 20 miles; Ichetucknee Spring; 22 miles; . As of now, the dock and stairs going down to the river are under re-construction. But can still get down to the river. I have 3 large dogs, let me know when you might arrive. So I can have them inside.
