The owner of the house is a Japanese female artist/painter —— Ueno.Her avant-garde paintings in the 1980s remain at home, and Japanese architecture and art showcase in all corners of the house, making it seem that today we can't help but admire. The Kyomachiya "Fang-no Door" is located in Naka-jimachi, the site of the "Daiji Temple" of Heiankyo.A thousand years ago, the Emperor sits on top of the Takodo Yasuza of the Greator's Palace to meet the imperial servants and foreign envoys.Nowadays, the only ruins of Daji Temple have evolved into commercial and residential areas. There is a bus stop 1min walk from the house and there is a JR/subway station 10min walk with easy access to all the attractions in Kyoto city. There is also a 24-hour Lawson/711 convenience store, drugstore, vegetable shop, butcher, seafood shop, restaurant (Kyoto cuisine, sushi, tempura, ramen, eel rice, Izakaya, Japanese curry, bakery, and so on), it is very convenient to live.
