The nearest grocery store is about 10 minutes by car (Ruka). The cottage is part of a housing association, one semi-detached house in the same yard and one cottage consisting of three apartments.

Nearby are wonderful nature sites: Karhunkierrokset, Riisitunturi, Ruka, Kiutaköngäs, etc. You can make day trips to nearby destinations. The beach sauna is at your disposal and we will advise you on how to heat it. WiFi available. The price includes linens and towels for three.

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!
