Create new memories in a unique accommodation on a large south-facing headland with panoramic views of Storsjön. In the canoe, boat or Stand Up Paddle on the fish-rich lake (70 km² and 150 islands). Late breakfast on the jetty. Swim privately from the jetty or by the small sandy beach after the sauna. Close to Högbo Bruk with mountain bike trails, canoe trails, paddle tennis, cross-country trails and large forests. 28km to Kungsberget's ski resort for slalom & cross country skiing, hiking, bear safari. Gävle town and Furuviks park. Motorboat available to hire.

Lillstugan near Kungsberget Högbo and outdoor life

Relax with family or friends at this peaceful place 4 miles north of Gävle and 4 km from Kungsberget. The home shares land with the host family and is newly renovated in the spring of 2023. The kitchen is fully equipped, bathroom with a bathtub. The living room has a sofa bed and TV. The bedroom has a 140cm bed. Cleaning not included but can be pre-booked for SEK 500. Bed linens and towels at a cost of SEK 150/set. Upon request, there is also a wood-fired hot tub that can be pre-booked for SEK 800. Close to outdoor activities.

Cabin by Testeboån

The cottage is located right by Testeboån, about 2 meters from the veranda. It is possible to both swim and fish, or sit in the sunset and look out on the water. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for a stay. Wi-Fi, TV and parking are included. It is possible to borrow a washing machine, charge an electric car or rent the sauna, for a small fee. If you want to visit Gävle, there are bike paths, or you can take the bus from the bus stop, which is within 200 meters. During the summer, we sell vegetables.

Best location on Hyllan!

Warm welcome to our comfortable and well-equipped apartment of 56 sqm right next to the slopes in Kungsberget. The apartment has 4 regular beds divided into two bedrooms and two extra beds in a sofa bed. The kitchen and living room have a nice open plan. The accommodation has a balcony, sauna and fireplace. During high season, it is possible to book either Sunday to Thursday, Thursday to Sunday or full weeks. Shorter periods, e.g. Friday to Sunday, can be booked if there are at most 48 hours left until arrival

Your family will be close to nature when you stay in this centrally located home. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. Close to amazing nature with walking (Gästrike trail) and bike trails. See Kungsberget's website for more info. Fishing in nearby lakes and ponds or if you just want to relax and take it easy. Ski apartment with sauna and balcony - Kungsberget

Comfortable and well-equipped apartment from 2016. The apartment has 6 regular beds divided into two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen and living room have an open plan that forms a nice gathering place between skiing, bike tours, day trips, fishing and so on. There is a balcony with a view of the mountain and a nice sauna as well as a washing machine. In addition, there are baby/child amenities, toys, board games, BT speakers, TV with streaming services and books to read.

A bright living space features large windows that provide views of the surroundings. A modern sofa is paired with two armchairs and a light wooden coffee table. A dining area with four chairs sits nearby, and a wood stove enhances the cozy environment.

Gammelgården

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Welcome to our guest house in the cottage area Hästhagen by Lake Öjaren. A few minutes from Högbo Bruk with nice cross-country skiing, mountain bike arena, golf courses, canoe rental, paddle tennis, etc. 25 minutes from Kungsberget's ski and bike facility. Walking distance to the lake for swimming and fishing. 1 km to Gästrikeleden with nice hiking and many miles of bike trails. In winter, 5 km ice rink on the lake within a few minutes' walking distance.
