The area has fantastic views of the Lyng Alps, with opportunities to see the northern lights in winter and the midnight sun in summer. There are good hiking opportunities in the immediate area. Popular mountains for randonees. From the property you can go directly up to Storhaugen. Sorbmegáisá is also nearby. Short distance to other mountains. Wood fired Sauna and grill hut. Bicycles, snowshoes. Beds are fully made.

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing and watcing the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. For a fee, our guests can also book the ocean sauna hot tub facilities , with a woodfired hot-tub and sauna placed on a big outdoor deck with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. Guests can use our 12ft rowing boat and some fishing gear for free during the summerseason.

We love our house! It's on the most amazing location right by the sea with a view over beautiful mountains, surrounded by nature, and if you are lucky you'll see wild life like reindeers, otters, moose and whales and you can also see Northern Lights from the house. We built the house in 2018 and moved in right away. The house is modern, well equipped and it has a fantastic panorama sauna only a few meters from the sea. The place is quiet and the neighbors are very friendly and helpful.

Lovely cottage in Svensby, Lyngen. Beautiful location 10 m from the sea, in the middle of the Lyngen Alps. Only 90 minutes drive from Tromsø, including a short ferry trip. Northern lights wintertimes, midnight sun summertimes. Spectacular hiking tours all year. Spectacular new build house (2018) in a lovely, quiet area with a beautiful view to the fjord/sea, mountains and forest in Kvaløya /Tromsø. You can watch the beautiful northern light / aurora borealis from the huge window (10 sqm), sitting in the living room with a cup of tea or coffee in your hand:-) This is a perfect place for tourists who wants to see the northern light, whales in the fjord at winter, hiking/ skiing in the mountains or everything else you want in this lovely city.

You will have bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen room only for you while during staying time😄 The area is perfect for Northern Light, ski and ice fishing in winter. You can just wait in livingroom for the Aurora 💚😊 In summer you can enjoy fishing and walking on the beach here. This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available.
