In addition, there are a number of downhill ski slopes and cross-country ski trails available in winter. By car, the popular excursion destinations Wasserkuppe and Milseburg can be reached in approx. 10 minutes. At 950 m, the Wasserkuppe is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

If you want to enjoy absolute peace, this is the place to be! Hiking trails, bike trails, and various attractions are very close. Among other things, alpaca hikes are possible directly in the village. Just ask us about excursion destinations and we will be happy to help you. Pets are not allowed.

A historical clay house renovated with natural materials with modern comfort and heating in Tann sourrounded by beautiful nature. The kitchen is fully equipped. Also fireplace available. Ideal for hikers, bikers, riders. Skiing possibilities 15 min to drive. The historical center of Tann is nearby with nice Cafes, 3 castles and a small Museum. Dear potential guests: Whether you are passing through, for a short break or for longer - our apartment is quickly accessible and a good place to relax in the evening - e.g. on the balcony with a view. The sofa-bed in the living room is very comfortable, so you can sleep well in two rooms. In the village, there is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and good gastronomy - around it a lot of forest. Our cafe has breakfast on weekdays from 6 or 7 o'clock on weekends.

A unique house for unique days... ...with our tiny house in the Hessian Rhön. It is in the large garden next to a second tiny house. From the house and from the terrace you have an unobstructed beautiful view of the valley. The house is fully equipped. It is made up of a bathroom with shower and water toilet, kitchenette, dining table, fold-out sofa, satellite TV, Wi-Fi. A staircase leads to the heavenly sleeping area (1.60 x 2.00). Hot tub for a fee!

Das Apartment ist ca. 70 qm groß, verfügt über ein Schlafzimmer mit einem großen Doppelbett ohne Fußteil (200x200 cm), einem großzügigen Bad mit Regenwalddusche sowie einem einladenden Wohn-Ess-Bereich mit moderner, vollausgestatteter Küchenzeile und Schlafsofa. Zudem ist ein Balkon mit Süd-West-Ausrichtung vorhanden. Die Wohnung besitzt eine Fußbodenheizung und einen großen SAT-TV.

In the 2-story accommodation, the bathroom, a bedroom, and the fully equipped kitchen are located on the first floor. Upstairs are another bedroom and the living room. The quiet garden invites you to linger and relax. Two sun loungers are also available in summer. Feel free to use the organic herbs and vegetables from the in-house greenhouse. Frankenheim/Rhön is the ideal starting point for both city and nature excursions.

Rhöner barn apartment

Enjoy nature and tranquility in our lovingly prepared and renovated barn apartment in the Rhön Biosphere Reserve. You have the barn to yourselves, like a detached house. There is also storage for bicycles and a bee meadow garden for sitting outside. To do this, you have to walk around the barn once. Great hikes or mountain bike tours from the barn are possible.
