Our fully refurbished Wee Cottage offers incredible views over the River Clyde. Only 30 minutes from Glasgow and seconds from the ferry to Dunoon & Argyll highlands, you can spot seals & porpoises while you watch the sun set. There's a double bedroom upstairs and comfortable double sofa bed in the living room, fully equipped kitchen, free private parking, and we include a wee breakfast as well. Find your wee happy place at this gorgeous cottage sits on Ardlamont point where the Kyles of Bute meet Loch Fyne. This is the jewel of Argyll’s Secret Coast. Romantically remote yet so close to the well known playgrounds of Tighnabruaich and Portavadie. A piece of paradise awaits you here set in bucolic surroundings of green fields with sheep and birds for company. Awe inspiring views towards Arran’s mountains and close to one of Scotland’s best beaches. A place to escape to and slow down.

The Anchorage, Family Friendly,Views, plus Kayaks

The Anchorage, Arrochar, was built circa 1913 and has been newly upgraded in December 2019 giving the cottage a luxurious interior with gas central heating and beautiful wood burning stove. Two ensuites and a beautiful bathroom provides guests with plenty of room whilst the large garden with pizza oven and BBQ has amazing views where guests can relax on the decking or seek shade in the lean to. Everyone can use the fire pit, games room or play area to keep occupied or use the Kayaks provided.

The bedroom features two spacious beds with neutral bedding, complemented by wooden headboards made from natural materials. A small wooden nightstand is positioned beside each bed, and a stylish wardrobe stands along one wall. Light-colored wood flooring adds warmth to the room.

Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the isle of Bute, the "secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Woodend Cottage - Carrick Castle, Lochgoilhead

Woodend is a beautiful detached cottage, built in the late 1800's and is one of the last remaining original cottages in Carrick Castle, but recently fully refurbished. The property is a 2 minute walk from the shores of Loch Goil and surrounded by mountains. It has its own enclosed garden and private driveway. It is easily accessible by car, being a 1 hour 15 minute drive from Glasgow airport, taking you along the stunning shores of Loch Lomond.
