We have to offer fantastic views, bags of peace and quiet at a "get away from it all" venue. We have converted a Shepherd's bothy with beds for four to suit walkers and families alike. This has been converted to a high standard with a single bedroom, separate bathroom with shower and an open plan living and kitchen area with wood burning stove as we aim to offer this accommodation year round. The bothy is located on the edge of the Kielder Water Resevoir next to our home, High Hawkhope Cottage.

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

Mackside is an attractive country house meticulously renovated throughout, located down a 1/2 mile private track. The accommodation is wonderfully light & spacious with an open plan kitchen dining that opens directly into and enclosed garden with patio area, wood fired hot tub, charcoal BBQ, dining area with views over the rolling hills. Ivy Cottage is the perfect size for 2, although it can accommodate up to 4. Ideal location, for cycling, walking, fishing and playing golf. There are dog-friendly pubs and cafes within walking distance, as well as a good selection of shops. We have an onsite games room, free for our guests to enjoy. We can accommodate 1 large or 2 small pets, however, please note, we do not have have a secure garden area. The cottage has many wonderful walks right on the doorstep for you to explore.
