Even if you don't have a bicycle, why not try cycling the Katsuragawa Cycling Road (Kyoto Hachimangu-Kizu Cycling Road), a 45 km route that ends at the Arashiyama Togetsu-kyo Bridge in Kyoto? We have started renting bicycles and tandem bicycles (2-seaters). How about cycling together as a couple? It is also close to Sakadokoro Fushimi, Uji no Heidain, Inari Taisha Shrine, Yasaka no Iwashimizu Yasaka Shrine, 30 minutes to Nara, and is perfect for sightseeing in southern Kyoto. Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs.
