The Stöckelkeller is the former inn in the village of Unternschreez near Bayreuth. By car, the university is 10 minutes away, the city center is 15 minutes away and the Festspielhaus is 20 minutes away. You will stay on 29 square meters (13 square meters of living & cooking; 11 square meters of sleeping; 5 square meters of bathroom) in modern, friendly rooms. We have equipped the apartment the way we like it when we travel. The house is right next to the small Margravial Schreez Castle. In 2021 & 2022, we completely renovated the house.

In the secluded garden area, a sauna, cold water shower with bathtub, sun loungers and dining area are at your disposal. The surroundings entice with numerous outdoor activities.

An outdoor terrace is furnished with a wooden table and colorful chairs, creating a relaxing space for dining. A sun awning provides shade, while surrounding shrubs and greenery add natural elements to the area. The patio features a mix of tiles and stone, enhancing its inviting layout.

Apartment is located directly in the tri-border corner of Bayreuth, Kulmbach and Bamberg. 20 minutes by car to Bayreuth, very good highway connection. Fitters are welcome here! Fully equipped new kitchen with dishwasher, box spring mattresses in king size bed, single bed can be extended to two people, balcony with south orientation - view towards the forest and smart TV.

Pretty new apartment

Our three newly renovated apartments are located on the first floor of an inn, which was renovated and reopened in 2023. Feel free to be our guest here from Friday to Tuesday and enjoy typical Franconian snacks, as well as home-brewed beer. Apartment 23 (approx. 24 square meters) consists of a living/sleeping room that offers the possibility for an extra bed/crib, as well as a well-equipped kitchenette with dishwasher and dining table.

Enjoy a mystical place at the edge of the forest by the fireplace

The apartment is located in a former Franconian farm, the Engelschanze, on the edge of the forest in the most beautiful area of Franconian Switzerland. In the Engelschanze there are 2 separate apartments, which can also be booked as a unit for 8-10 people. The large garden can be used by all guests. It stretches over the adjacent forest, where there is also a hammock for general use. Each apartment has its own terrace with a view.

A modern kitchen features sleek cabinetry and stainless steel appliances, including a tall refrigerator. Natural light enters through a skylight, illuminating the open space. Exposed wooden beams add a touch of character to the high ceiling, complemented by warm-toned wooden flooring.
