This atmospheric, electrified cabin offers peace and quiet in the midst of nature, yet is only about 15 km (9 miles) from the services of the town of Nurmes (Bomba and Hyvärilä are about a 10-minute drive away). The shallow, fish-rich pond offers excellent recreational opportunities, and the surrounding area provides good mushroom and berry picking grounds. An idyllic place for a family cabin getaway too!

Welcome to stay in a winter-inhabited log cabin converted into a cottage on the slope of Käränkääpää. The accommodation is located close to Koli National Park and Koli ski slopes (about 6 km). Behind the cottage there is an illuminated ski trail/recreational trail. In summer, there is the opportunity to take a dip in the adjacent pond, about 200 meters away. The accommodation has beds upstairs for four people. The stairs up are very narrow and steep (almost a ladder)! The cottage has a kitchen, toilet, shower and infrared sauna.
