Beautiful log cabin with a porch and an atmospheric living room/kitchen. The cottage was completed in 12/2020, and is located in a quiet location. The nearest neighbor is 1 km away. The cottage has underfloor heating/wood stove. In the courtyard of the cottage, there is a large hut, freely available. The nearest body of water is Jokijärvi, 600 meters to the beach, where there is a beach and a rowboat. Connection to the official sled trail. Hiking trail Simosenpolku next to the property. Maintained ski trail to ski trails. Kalle Päätalo Museum, Kallioniemi, about 3 km away.

Welcome to Villa Jaakkola! Villa Jaakkola is a log villa completed in 2022 in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski. The villa is spacious and roomy. Downstairs there is one bedroom and a sauna + bathroom. The loft also has plenty of space and sleeping places. The cottage has all the modern comforts and the large windows open up to a magnificent lake landscape in two directions. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!
