Unique Dutch Miller’s House

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Hoeve Vertrouwen

You are welcome to stay on our organic snowdrop farm all year round. From December through April you will be able to enjoy thousands of snowdrops, stinsenplants, and a free tour around the nursery. We are far from the hustle and bustle of the city but still within easy reach of local towns, villages and attractions. The farm is a beautiful and quiet spot, in the middle of the Noord-Holland countryside of the Wieringermeer polder. Our own small green piece of paradise. We hope to see you soon!

Ons zelf ontworpen huisje ligt midden in de velden, op 45 minuten rijden van Amsterdam. Het staat op een kleinschalig recreatiepark, waar wij ook een ander huisje hebben onder de naam Familie Buitenhuys. Je slaapt in een volledig huisje met vloerverwarming en alle comfort, met daaraan vast een tuinkas als extra leefruimte. Vanuit hier kijk je uit over de velden en de dijk aan het Markermeer: Nederland in zijn puurste vorm. Licht, eigenzinnig en speels ingedeeld. Maximaal 4 personen + baby.

Rural cottage

Get away from it all, enjoy nature on the edge of the IJsselmeer and beach. In the 2700m2 backyard of our farmhouse are two detached tiny houses with a large private garden and private entrance with lots of privacy. The cottage is within walking distance of the historic city of Medemblik and close to Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Amsterdam is 45 minutes away. Various possibilities for water sports. Beach, ports, shops etc. reachable within 5 minutes by car and 25 minutes on foot.

Enjoy "A little sea time"

Our cozy holiday bungalow in the park "de Watersnip" in the coastal village of Petten are close to the beach and the canals leading around the park. From the parking lot, you go by a small shell path to our private, hedge-lined retreat. The Park de Watersnip, where our sea time is located, also has great leisure activities (pool, etc.) available to our tenants & guests. Romantic stay with a view from your bed on the water and a double swing From the love-seat, you can watch the TV or the fireplace (heating) and you will have it cozy in winter or in summer you can enjoy reading or playing games outside on the terrace at the water. Hot tub, kayak or 2 paddle boards can be booked. There are also bicycles, which you can borrow for free. The bathroom is 1 step outside the Pipo and all just for you/you.

Lovely apartment with 2 bedrooms. All to yourself. At the back a spacious garden room with fireplace and in addition a private garden. The garden room can be heated with the fireplace . In the winter it can be too cold to sit there only with the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bath and a double shower. The bathroom also has a washing machine and dryer. Lovely apartment to stay completely on your own and enjoy the tranquility!

Forest Cabin is a cosy eco-cabin for 2 persons, situated at the edge of the forest on our green campsite. The double bed of this eco-cabin is made for you on arrival and towels and kitchen linen are ready for you. Every morning we bring a delicious fresh and extensive breakfast to your door, including fresh bread from the local bakery, organic yoghurt and cheese from the carefarm, various juices and many other good things.
