Welcome to Sunna and Grandfather's Log Cabin_Sun. There are two themes of the sun. The first is "Looking at Gongaksan Mountain". I made the wall diagonal so that I could see Gongaksan Mountain, one of the 100 most famous mountains in Korea, and the sky above it. The second is "Breath, Rest". I didn't paint the room at all and finished it with cypress wood, hoping that the body and mind of the guests can comfortably breathe and rest. Also, I tried to make the place feel as spacious as possible, and to feel like everything is connected, by not blocking it as much as possible. The Sun is a house that Sunna's father made himself, except for the sink and table set. If you comfortably sit on the deck or the window that the sun is proud of, you can enjoy the dance of the clouds and the wind spreading over Mt. Gongja and the sky above it. The sound of birds and grass bugs moving around, and the sound of the stream across the street that you can hear if you listen carefully will comfort your heart.

Jodongri Alps

It's far from the city, but close to the stars of the night sky. For me, who loves the mountains and likes to go for walks, the Jo Dong-ri Alps is a place where the European Alps are not envious.   Imdo, polished on the 7-800 heights, is a delight to taste. The accommodation is at 450 heights, and it takes 40 minutes to walk to the entrance of the 700 heights promenade, and 5 minutes to drive.   It is best to take a short 5 minute drive up.  The night sky is great and full of stars. If you lie on a weightless chair in the yard and look at the stars, you can see shooting stars and dancing fireflies. It's not crowded with famous tourist attractions or pensions, so it's not crowded. Even if you turn 360 degrees in the courtyard, you can make deep relaxation and memories in the nature where you can see all the mountains. You can experience organic vegetables in summer and an eco-friendly goodle room with far-infrared rays in winter, and you have a private backyard patio with a studio with a bathroom. - The cost of the barbecue is 20,000 won, and we provide salt, pepper, and barbecue tools. The use of the fire pit space is free, and please clean it up after use (buy firewood). - This place is 700m above sea level, so be sure to bring a warm coat as the temperature is lower than the flat area. - As it is a natural space, you may see insects inside and outside. This is a guesthouse in a quiet rural village in a 15-minute drive to the Gangneung Sea. The building is connected, but it is composed of an annex with a separate entrance, bathroom, and self-catering facilities, and independent stays are available (Netflix available). Free parking is available in the yard, and there is an outdoor dining area, so you can also have a barbecue experience with the electric grill (no charcoal/bonfire due to the risk of wildfires). If you come with children, you can also experience the season with owners such as the rural grandmother and grandpa. Recommended for up to 2 adults and 2 children as the explosion proof is not wide. It is narrower than 3 minutes for adults. We will also prepare breakfast for those who apply for a home-cooked meal such as a mother's meal (charged). The interior is small, but the yard and site are spacious, so you can freely move around, and there is a separate barbecue area. It can accommodate from 2 to 4 people. In summer, you can also put a tent in the yard or valley, and there is a valley in front of the house, so it is good for playing in the water, and you can see the wonderful scenery of Mt. Oda throughout the four seasons. The barbecue has a grill and torch, and you can buy charcoal and use it yourself. There are fire extinguisher, fire alarm, and gas leak alarm. Fridge, induction, microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer, air conditioner, fan, pot, frying pan, cooking utensils, towels, shampoo, and soap are provided.

A small house in a mountain valley

※ During the summer, you must park your vehicle in the yard 800 meters below the property and walk! It is a villa built in a mountain valley to make memories with children. You can see that I made my own campsite after feeling ashamed while folding and drying a wet tent on a rainy day. It's cold, but everything you need is there. Personal camping equipment is not available. Sometimes it's a place to go for healing with your loved ones:)
