Excellent berry picking, mushroom picking, fishing and hunting grounds right at the cottage door (Kukkaro-Lakla). The cabin has electricity. Nearby historical and hiking destinations, e.g. Rukajärventie, Änäkäinen, Jongunjoki, Karhunpolku and Ruunaa recreational fishing and hiking area. ask by message for autumn weekends, they are negotiable even if they are initially reserved for private use. No access to running water during the freezing season.

In the city center, a furnished and newly renovated three-room apartment with sauna on the top floor with a roof terrace and elevator. The only apartment in the housing association, no disturbance from the neighbors. The atmosphere is spacious and bright. From the living room side there is an entrance to the large roof terrace, where you can admire the views of the center of Lieksa and the changing seasons. All downtown shops and services are nearby. Alapiha Arboretum Guesthouse and Sauna

Cozy guest house and sauna in a wild tree species park. There are about 250 different species of woody trees and shrubs in the two-hectare area. The trees were planted in 1970 and form their own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is still partly in its natural state and renovation is being done in the area. For those interested, we will be happy to introduce the arboretums during the visit. The household includes two Lapphunds, a cat, a rooster and 6 hens. Breakfast available

In winter, you can access the ski slope from the ice in front of the cottage. In addition, the ski slopes of the Timitra ski resort are within walking distance of the cottage. In the courtyard of the cottage, there are good downhill skiing opportunities, as well as a great setting for winter activities. However, city services are available a few kilometers away.

The swimming jetty is about 30 meters away, so a dip from the sauna into the lake is a great success! The lawn has a fixed cast iron grill, in addition to the Weber charcoal grill. During the summer season, a rowboat and paddleboard are available at no extra charge. In the heat, a new air heat pump keeps the cabin cool.
