A trip of history through the stone-built paths of the village Vuno. Since the time of the pirates. People were forced to move from the seaside area, in order to be protected and safe. They used the stone,the wood and the iron. They built little castles,where they could be protected from enemy. No roads. Just paths. Safe and Quiet. Vuno has only one main road, the main national road that cross the center of the village. The people of the Sun, built their houses- little castles on a mountain.

The old chapel of our farm, recently renovated and transformed into a beautiful autonomous apartment. It has a small private garden on the front, while the interior is very fresh and charming. Four arches per side decorate the vault and on the mezzanine, where the double bed is located, you feel immersed in a timeless atmosphere. Along with the tower, it's the oldest part of Masseria Insarti where I live with my family and several nice animals, 5 minutes from Lecce

Petreas Castle - Feel the historical atmosphere

Petrea Castle belongs to the castle's complex Troupaki-Mourtzinou of Upper Kardamili in Messinian Mani. Built in the early 18th century, recently restored on plans by Greek Ministry of Culture, preserving with respect its historic and architectural character. It has three floors with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen. Unique view to Messinian bay and mountain Taygetos. The property offers air-conditioning system with heating pumps for heat and cold.
