Alabama Hills high-desert getaway at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, with a spectacular view of Mount Whitney and surrounding peaks. This is the perfect base for all your Eastern Sierra adventures. A ten minute drive from the charming town of Lone Pine. Our two bedroom house is equipped with everything you'll need for a weekend away or an extended stay. The one acre garden with mature trees offers many private hangout spots and wonderful views in every season. Hosts live onsite.

Get away from it all in this stylish, studio cottage. Enjoy amazing views of the foothills and Tule River. Take a nap in the hammock, float peacefully in the river, or explore our wild 10 acres. In the evenings, enjoy stargazing or conversation at the fire pit. Our property is secluded, yet only 10 minutes from the main highway. We are in between Sequoia Forest (east) and Sequoia Park (north), with about an hour drive to each. We love to host remote workers/traveling health care providers.

Big Pine Cottage Hideaway

Big Pine Cottage Hideaway! Our guest house has a fenced yard with a seasonal creek running through it. It has a parking area that can accommodate 2 vehicles. It is close walking distance to the downtown area. Big Pine is a small town, so morning and evening walks are a must. The base of the Eastern Sierra’s has many great places to explore. Small pets (30lbs) are allowed for a fee of $30 and is payable at check in. Pets are not to be left alone. WiFi is available, but can be spotty at times.

Our guest cottage is an architect-designed tiny home for 2, in a peaceful rural area. It is just 28 minutes from beautiful Kings Canyon National Park. There is a view of meadows and guests are welcome to stroll the half-mile around the property and view the sheep, dogs and horses. Birdlife is abundant and nearby is Cat Haven ( featuring lions, snow leopards etc.). Yosemite is within reach for a day trip . Great coffee 2 minutes away! Sorry, no assistance animals (see house rules)
