┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ ◆ Limited to one group per day/private rental - Experience a rejuvenating stay in a long-established inn and storehouse ◆ ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ■ Location, history, features ■ In the port town of "Mitsuhama" in Matsuyama/Dogo, a 105-year-old long-established restaurant inn (formerly the Kawacho Ryokan) surrounded by 4 white-walled storehouses and 4 gardens built in the Edo period - white plastered earth walls, natural bamboo walls of Kannonji Temple, etc., have been renovated little by little and regenerated (in the process of regeneration). It is an old private house that initially opened as an accommodation facility for almost 100% inbound. Renovation work is being carried out on the semi-open-air bath inside the warehouse and the water area. ■ Healing moss garden ■ There are three moss gardens: the front garden, the middle garden, and the back garden, and well water flows everywhere, flowing between the hand basin, the watering hole, the deer repellent, the stepping stones, and the pot pond, where koi, medaka, tanago, and crayfish live, and a biotope space visited by wild birds. ■ Check-in lounge (cafe/bar space), souvenir corner ■ You can drink authentic cocktails on the first floor of the annex (main building). There is a souvenir corner with interior goods/accessories/natural stones/amulets imported from Bali and other countries.

Osamijima, Shimanami Kaido. A large deck with a view of the sea and the sunset. Open-air bath with a view of the sea. Seaside retreat

This accommodation is limited to one group per day and allows you to enjoy the beauty of the many islands in the Seto Inland Sea and the sunset. Designed by the host, an architect who has won numerous awards overseas. Not extraordinary, but a "delicate life" with the theme of enriching everyday life. You can experience that kind of life here. There is a separate indoor bath from the Hinoki bath, but the view of Setouchi and the starry sky from the Goemon bath, heated with firewood, is the best. If you're lucky, you'll see artificial satellites and meteors. The water heated by firewood never gets cold. It warms you from the core of your body. The bedding is specially ordered from a long-established bedding manufacturer in Kyoto, and the bath invites you to relax your body and mind and sleep soundly. Most guests say they sleep well. During the day, you might want to spend some time in the lounge filled with houseplants. Enjoy the sunlight shining through the trees from the skylight. Here, the right answer is to do nothing and just be. How about emptying your mind? If you request at least a week before your stay, we can prepare local food from Oshima Island and seasonal food that we can get through a special route. If you wish, you can also dine at a counter made of pure cedar, similar to a traditional Japanese restaurant.

The night sky is filled with stars, and in summer the Milky Way shines magnificently. Enjoy an elegant and fulfilling time with carefully brewed coffee, local orange juice, and wine, surrounded by the rich tones of records. [Old house STAY Mukojima no Ie Hanare] It is an old house built 100 years ago. Wooden fittings on the mud walls. Like a 100-year-old, this house is quite weak. It is tilted, distorted, and shriveled. Still, it continues to breathe quietly and slowly. Enjoy your time in an old Japanese house, surrounded by the blue sea of Setouchi, the starry sky, and the mandarin orange fields, as if you had slipped through time.
