Relax in this special and quiet accommodation in the middle of the Thuringian Forest. Sauna is there , for a fee To the center 1.5 km .Wintersp.sow hike and bike ride right outside the front door. Ilmenau is a university town with lots of amenities. Erfurt the state capital is about 35 km away. Oberhof the ski resort approx. 25 km. The A72 motorway, as well as train and bus connections are available. The apartment is a non-smoking apartment. No Pets. Bachelorette party ban.

Vacation log cabin Gräfenroda by the river

The house is modernly decorated and the garden offers plenty of space to spread out. In the winter months, it is perfect for winter sports in and around Oberhof. In the rest of the year, it is great for hiking, cycling and sightseeing in and around the Thuringian Forest and much more. The sauna and hot tub require preparation. If you want to use these, please let us know after booking. We also have a pool that you are welcome to use in the summer.

Welcome to the heart of Thuringia, in a beautiful, natural area with many hiking opportunities, nearby trails and ski lifts and much more. Our apartment is located 800 m above sea level and about 14 km from the center of Saalfeld. If you are looking for peace and time to rest and relax, you have come to the right place.
