About 3 minutes on foot from the nearest bus stop (Iizuna Higashi Ward)! It is about a 7-minute walk from the next nearest bus stop (Iizuna Kogen). You can also come by public transport. Restaurants such as Mori-no-Eki, Iizuna Soba, Ramen, and Hamburger are also within walking distance. About 25 minutes by car from Nagano Station and Zenkoji Temple.Togakushi Shrine is about a 15-minute drive away. It is also a great base for golf skiing to Togakushi, Kurohime, and Myoko. Since it is a house nestled in the mountains, we will do our best to take care of it, but during the warmer months, insects can be seen.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves dance. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but it's got an incredible view. Enjoy cooking with a kitchen counter with stunning views, condiments, and a cooker.(There is no equipment for BBQ.)

It is less than 5 minutes walk to many cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter.

“Maison d’hotes KIRISI MIZU”, is a Irimoya style (traditional Japanese house, similar to Temple) that has been beautifully restored from traditional materials and passed down from my grate-grand parents generation. The entire house is done in a classic style as used to be, except for a newly built kitchen, toilet and bathroom that provide all the necessities of modern life.
