"Guesthouse Agae" is a small house for rent in a renovated old private house in a village called "Kinju", a popular village for travelers walking on Kumano Kodo and Nakabeji.(Opened in September 2020) Kumano Kodo and Prince Kumano are about 550 meters (about 7 minutes on foot), and supermarkets, bus stops, and restaurants are within 30 seconds on foot, making it a very convenient location. Since the owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, we will respond as much as possible to questions and advice about walking on the old road, and pick up and drop off in case of trouble.A personal guide is also available, so please feel free to contact us. It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area.Also I provide two bikes at the house. This house was built 120 years ago and stayed by a lot of people who have plan to go to Koya-san. The house is in front of the river and you can take a look. It will make relaxed. We can do tea ceremony, if you want. We have 2 toilet and 1 bath room with big bath tab made by a Japanese special wood, Hinoki. There is a 24h super market, Okuwa near the house.(5 min away by a car) And high rank Japanese beef restaurant(2 min by a car) You can enjoy Yakiniku.
