Upstairs in the Netherlands, near the Wadden Coast, you will find this sustainable and energy-neutral tiny house. The cottage is located at the back of our property and is surrounded by a natural garden. It has a wide view and offers a lot of privacy. The tiny house is decorated with love and in detail. It is completely made of wood and has a surface area of 30m². The cottage is equipped with every comfort, everything you need is available. Enjoy the scenery and the skies, the peace and the space!

Water house on the Pier of LauwersmeerPlezier!

At a unique spot on the Lauwersmeer are our two Waterhouses, half above the water. With spectacular views over the Lauwersmeer. The water cottages, also called tiny houses, have a private bath room with shower, washbasin, and toilet. Private kitchen, with induction stove and oven. A double bed (2 separate mattresses of 80 cm) TV and small sitting area. There is also a dining table for two people. Terrace with south-facing seating. Roller curtains and nice warm blankets. Delightful tranquility!

Fully equipped with a kitchen (including dishwasher & oven), free WiFi, central heating, and a cozy living room with Chromecast. Outside, you’ll find a fenced garden with terrace, trampoline, BBQ, and lounge chairs. The park offers beaches, playgrounds, entertainment, boat rental, a restaurant, and more – the perfect mix of nature, relaxation, and fun!

The Wandelschuur

The Wandelschuur is on the edge of the forest, within walking distance to the Waddenzee and Lauwersmeer. Decorated with taste and color, moreover, there are no houses and buildings to see when you look out through the high glass facade with French doors. The Wandelschuur is a wooden cottage on a residential yard. You will sleep in the romantic loft in a spacious double bed. A nice base for mudflat walking, a day in Schiermonnikoog, hiking, cycling around Lauwersmeer, eating fish, etc. :)

Chalet de Zeemeeuw

From the chalet de Zeemeeuw you have a view of the sea dike and the farmlands. On a farm path it is 1.5 km. to the dike, there are the salt marshes and under the guidance of a guide you can walk. Groningen is a half hour drive. The chalet is next to our arable farm just outside Pieterburen. PEACE, SPACE and VIEW are the keywords. Kitchen with oven, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker and water cooker. A terrace with furniture and umbrella. Possibly to use washing machine.

In our distance

Our cottage is located on a tree-lined meadow, next to our farm from 1814, just outside the beautiful village of Warfhuizen. Enjoy the peace and privacy, the seasons, the views and the possibilities in the area. You can swim and sail at 200 meters. The Wadden Sea is 10 kilometers away, the Lauwersmeer National Park is 15 kilometers away. Furthermore, there are many borgs, villages, and other places within walking, cycling or car distance that are worth visiting.

Former worker's cottage, rural location

Simple former country worker's cottage in a rural area with several amenities nearby. The center of Delfzijl is located at 3km distance and Appingedam with its hanging kitchens is 6km away. Simple country cottage on the countryside but close to various facilities such as a train station, supermarket and restaurants. The center of Delfzijl is only 3 kilometers away. Appingedam, a charming little historical town, with its hanging kitchens, is about 6 km away.

Beach Cottage "Het Kompas"

What a place...be welcome in every season! Feel the wind through your hair and come 'get away', recharge and enjoy in the Lauwersmeer area that has so much to offer. This beautiful chalet is located in the Lauwersmeer area. The chalet is modernly furnished and has all the comforts. Whether you're coming for the peace, nature, outdoor activities, or a good book. You're sure to find something that completes your weekend away, short break, or vacation!

Cozy room with bathroom.

This nice room is built in a barn has its own shower and toilet. Ten minutes drive to the Wadden Sea. So no beach but dikes with sheep on it. However, a few sprayed fake beaches and the ferry service to Borkum for the real work. Waking up to cackling chickens under your window. Wood-burning stove warmth, with support of electric stove. The price does not include breakfast. Preferably no employees, unless..... Dogs welcome for a small fee.

Modern cabin

A cabin from 2021 with all facilities you need. Easily accessible by car and located between Groningen and Delfzijl. The cabin is situated in the Hoogeland region which is known for its calming views and beautiful Groningen sunsets. It is not uncommon to see a herd of deer grazing during breakfast! This is the perfect accommodation for a walk- or biking tour in the area, or to see the rest of the northern Netherlands or Germany by car.

Sleeping on the mudflats

Go offline on the edge of the mudflats in a simple but modern wadden house. Here the nights are still really dark and you can even see the Northern Lights at some times! Noordpolderzijl is the ideal base for your mudflats or holidays on the wadden coast. Please be aware that you are staying in a nature reserve on the Wadden Sea. Dogs must stay on a leash and there is no large beach as you may be used to from the North Sea coast.

Enjoy our cozy tiny house on the space near our farm with horses and our other animals. This beautiful cottage is equipped with everything so you can fully enjoy all that beautiful Groningen has to offer! After our driveway of about 800m, you are assured of fresh air. The Tiny House is one of two Tiny Houses on our property at the end of a dead-end road. Be welcome!
