Near the cabin there are ski tracks with a large network of ski slopes. And in less than half an hour you are at Beitostølen alpine resort where there are also many exciting activities in the summer such as horseback riding and Via Ferrata at Skogshorn. If you drive a few kilometers further, you are at Valdresflye surrounded by mountain peaks over 2,000 meters.

Granbakken i Valdres

Her kan du hvile ut etter lange turer i fjell, skog og mark, til fots eller på ski. Alle årstider har noe å by på, og utsikten er upåklagelig! Det er kort vei til nærbutikken og gardsbutikk med deilig lokalmat. Tømmerhuset er 100 år gammelt, men betydelig oppusset med nytt bad, rehabilitert kjøkken, nye vinduer, nytt yttertak og nye gulv. Det er mye treverk og koselig innredning. Du kan grille, bruke bålpanne, og nyte solen på en av flere uteplasser, eller sitte delvis under tak i uthuset.

Cozy up on the terrace, in front of the fire pit outside, or crawl up on the couch inside the fireplace after a day of delicious mountain air outside.
