This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. Hello, we are Sylvia and Marc. Our attractively furnished apartment is located on the water in the picturesque village of Kolhorn. From the terrace you can fully enjoy the sun and look out over the water and the old region. From Kolhorn you can reach the sea and the beach in 15 minutes. The town of Schagen is nearby, where you can visit the West Frisian market every Thursday. Various walking and cycling tours also start from Kolhorn. You can store your bicycles safely and dry in our shed.
