Kinka Ropeway, Gifu Castle, and Gifu Park.There are also local restaurants and traditional coffee shops, so you can enjoy sightseeing and local culture at the same time.We can also help you with tickets to see cormorant fishing and tourist model courses.It is about 8 minutes by car from Gifu station, and there is a bus stop nearby, so access is good.It is the perfect base for sightseeing, business, and long-term stays. I came to Gifu in 2018, I think it was it’s unpretentiousness that attracted me . The people here seem relaxed and easy going, hospitable and very much in love with their hometown which in the Gifu park area retains much of the (Kyoto like) feeling of traditional Japan with it’s castle and a host of well maintained shrines. I don't think many people have heard of Gifu, even Japanese people, inspite of the Great heritage sights like Shirakawago, beautiful mountains and clear water rivers!
