It's the wing of Dene Lodge, a beautiful Victorian "Gentleman's residence" in the heart of the parish of Morwenstow. Just a few minutes from the dramatic Coast Path it is fabulously placed for exploring this stunning area. Endless walks and gorgeous beaches are all very close, so dogs are welcome to join you on your holidays.

Self check-in and a private entrance makes it easy to social distance, with footpaths and woodland all around there is an abundance of open space. In addition to following the enhance cleaning and sanitisation protocol, we are also keeping a 1 day window before and after each booking. Secluded, dog friendly and situated in walking distance of Bucks Mills beach and the South West Coast Path.

Skirr Cottage was the home of the acclaimed writer Henry Williamson who is best known as the author of Tarka the Otter. With its pretty whitewashed exterior the cottage is set next to a trickling stream next to the historic Norman church of St. George in the heart of Georgeham village. Putsborough surfing beach is a 25 minute walk via fields or via a lane. or 5 minute drive. The Kings Arms and 17th century Rock Inn serving gastro pub food are 1 minute and a 4 minute walk away.

With direct access to footpaths leading on to the south west coast path, this is an ideal bolthole for walking or surfing holidays or just the perfect excuse to get away from it all. The tiny house sits in a quiet corner on our family farm in North Cornwall, just over 2 miles from the coast. There is a cozy sauna with sea view available for hire on the farm.
