Take the trip to Dingja and stay in a lake house from the 1800s. Dingja is a small village at the outlet of Sognefjorden. The lake arch is cozy and functional, and is located in the marina with terrace beyond the sea. Here there are fishing opportunities in the sea, fresh water and river Lots of nice hiking trails in mountains to each other and lookout points. Hike to ancient settlements and cemetery from Viking teams at historical Dingeneset. Nearest neighbor is Dingja storkiosk. From the sea room there is a 3 min walk to child-friendly sandy beach.

Amazing views of the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. Studio leigheit with kitchen and own bathroom with washing machine. Simple standard, but all equipment for the kitchen and linen is available. Central in Flekke, 3 km from UWC. 250 meters to grocery store with simple cafe. Playground in kindergarten nearby. Short distance to beach, fjords and mountains with nice hiking areas. 8 km to the municipal center Dale. It will be our pleasure to help suggest activities in the area. We live in the house close by and it is possible to borrow a cot and enough toys and equipment if desired.

Bergen Airport Flesland is 40 minutes away by car. The ideal spot for hiking, exploring Bergen and the fjords, or just enjoy the peace and quiet at this inland island of Osterøy. Famous attractions like Flåm, Gudvangen, Sognefjord, Hardangerfjord, Voss and Trolltunga within daytrip distance.
