The apartment is based at the 3rd floor (no elevator) of an antique Tuscan building: the sealing in wood and the stone walls are all authentic! You'll find a very cosy and unique atmosphere made by the care for details and love for my home. En-joy it! The apartment has been detailed designed and renovated taking care of original stone walls from XVI sec, original marblekitchen sink, wood ceiling, parquet floor. The new balcony (with the view on the old tower) makes special every moment of the day surrounding by seasonal flowers and strawberry: enjoy at breakfast or for an aperitivo tasting a glass of Chianti wine or watching the full moon in the night. The little town of Pistoia surprises with its discreet charm enclosed in alleys and squares decorated with historical monuments and palaces, testimony of an ancient artistic past. The apartment is in a large American vine house in the center of the town of Borgo San Lorenzo. The house consists of a double bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. Outside there is a courtyard of gray stones and an organic garden full of vegetables grown with love and ancient flowers from other times. The accommodation is for two people, single or as a couple, but there is also the possibility to add a cot if there is a child present. The Mugello Valley has small treasures of rare beauty: the medieval village of Scarperia, the Romanesque parishes of Borgo S. Lorenzo, Sant'Agata and the small town of San Giovanni, the home of the painter Giotto in Vicchio. Green walks on the trails of the woods in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, the succulent tortello mumble with potatoes, Bilancino Lake near Barberino del Mugello. History, nature and, if you are passionate about motorcycles, there is also the Mugello International Racetrack. There are trains and buses to and from Florence From May 1, 2019 upon arrival, the payment of the tourist tax due to the Municipality of Borgo San Lorenzo will be required, in cash, equal to €1.50 per day per person, up to a maximum of 6 consecutive days.
