If you want to try your luck in the rich fishing waters of Vestfjorden, boat rental is possible. In the months Jan-April the famous Lofot fishing is ongoing, and you can experience this fishing at Ballstad, which is one of Lofoten's largest and most abundant fishing village.

There is a short distance to Leknes airport, Stamsund (Hurtigruten) and otherwise you can take the ferry from Bodø to Moskenes and drive approx. 45 min. Free parking. At Gravdal there is a grocery store, gas station and cozy cafe The chocolate room. Otherwise, there are beautiful family friendly trips in the area and at Gravdal below the church there are nice bays/beaches you can sunbathe and swim on nice days. It is also nice to cycle in the area.

The property is in quiet neighbourhood of Gravdal centre, with an ocean view of Buksnesfjorden and the surrounding mountains and a 300m walk to supermarket, café, busstops, hospital and several hiking trails. It’s a great location to explore the Lofoten islands as it’s not too far to go either way.
