Perfect for exploring the West, near Loch Lomond

Ardenconnel House is a B listed Mansion house dating back to 1750. The property is located in the village of Rhu, near Helensburgh which is ideally placed for exploring Loch Lomond and the West coast of Scotland while close enough to Glasgow to allow easy access to the city by road or rail Loch Lomond is also only twelve miles away, and Stirling only an hour away. Rhu itself has a large marina, a welcoming wee pub and local shop. All in all a peaceful property, in a beautiful location.

Open all year. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers and pets are very welcome and stay at no extra charge. There are many activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiast and Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Built in 1888, Cats Castle sits in two acres on the seaward side of the A814, just beyond the western edge of Dumbarton. The property has wonderful views down the Firth of Clyde. Cats Castle is close to Glasgow, Helensburgh, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. The castle comprises three reception rooms, all with working fireplaces, a family kitchen, pantry, and five bedrooms, including the turret bedroom on the top floor. Suitable for family holidays or special occasions.

The apartment is 5 mins walk to the beach/promenade, and a ten min walk to town centre. The surrounding area has great opportunities for hill walking / outdoor pursuits. Provided also are tea, coffee, sugar, milk. The flat is deep cleaned and sanitized in between each stay.

Since Covid 19 regulations I hire a local company to sanitise my apartment by fogging it kills 99,5% of all bacteria including Covid no harmful fumes or residue left. My priority is to protect my guests.
