Cosy, hideaway cottage in 2 acres of forest!

Holmhead cottage: Enchanting 200 year old cosy cottage set in approx. 2 acres of its own grounds, located in the heart of Royal Deeside, a tranquil and peaceful setting, near woods and pine trees. A home away from home! It has been in my family for generations and we have finally decided to open it's doors for holiday lets. The wee Beehive with wood burning hot tub

Sweet Donside little bespoke cabins are a magical escape where you can wake up and say hello to our free roaming ducks & hens, it really is wonderful experience to stay in. We now have a king size tv bed with Netflix and a kitchen area with an oven, 2 ring hob, sink, min fridge , kettle & toaster. There is a decking area out side the cabin with the love tub waiting for you to enjoy a romantic dip, the tub is exclusive to the cabin and fenced off. We allow one well behaved dog by request only.

Self contained annexe in the heart of Royal Deeside. The 'bothy' is a 1 bedroom home attached to our converted farmhouse. Downstairs has a spacious fully-equipped kitchen/living area with sofa bed and log burner. Upstairs is a double bedroom and shower room. Just 6 miles from Ballater, and in the Cairngorms National Park, the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve is on our doorstep with walks and cycle routes. Close by is Tarland Trails 2 mtb centre. Our property has bike wash and storage.

You can explore the farm, woodlands and our garden. Ideally located for visiting nearby castles and distilleries the area also has great cycling, golfing, fishing and horse-riding. Our local pub is a mile away. The nearest town, Alford, has a pub, restaurant, shops, supermarket, parks and museums.
