Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Due to the age of the house, the apartment is furnished in a bright vintage style. You can look out at the mountains from every window. The apartment is located in a cozy old building from 1914 on the second floor in the center of Amden. Chairlift, hiking trails, indoor pool, ski school and beautiful nature are at your doorstep.

We are a cosmopolitan family with two children (4 & 8) and at home in the beautiful Glarus mountains. Our new guest apartment is centrally located in a quiet location. Furnished with a bed 160 wide, shower with bath towels, kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, etc. Kitchen table, cabinet, Toilet in the stairwell. Garden with seating. Wi-Fi, coffee and tea are available.

The apartment is located in a Villa constructed in 1902. It was completely renovated in 2012 and refurnished with loving attention to details. The apartment is ideal for small groups and families as well as for individuals. In total, there are four rooms which provide space for six people (two double-beds and one double sleeping-sofa). This beautiful apartment is just a 5-7 minute walk from the mountain railway. In addition, the "Bsinti" reading café and a grocery store are nearby, so you have everything you need right at hand.

A gas grill is available for our guests for exclusive use. Free parking by the house. We care about the well-being of our guests.
