Although the buildings are connected, the entrance, toilet, and cooking facilities are separate, allowing for an independent stay. Free parking is available in the yard, and there is an outdoor dining area, so you can experience a barbecue with an electric grill (I don't use charcoal/bonfires due to the risk of wildfires). If you come with children, you can also do seasonal activities with owners like grandparents and grandparents in the countryside. The room is not spacious, so we recommend a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children. It's cramped for 3 or more adults. It is a 15-minute drive from Yeongwol Station, so the access is good. At night, there are a lot of stars pouring in and the sound of birds that change every season. Daegwallyeong-myeon, known for its heavy snowfall, transforms into a wonderland blanketed with white snow during winter. It is home to Alpensia and Yongpyong Resort that serve as the stage of Snow Festival. My house was the official lodging of the organizing committee of the Olympic Games in Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympics. They loved our accommodation very much.
