Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. In this cozy cabin you live in beautiful natural surroundings. River and mountain views from the window and on the tarassen. Nice hikes nearby, including Vallestadfossen waterfall which is 500 meters away. mountain hikes are also nearby. Below the cabin it is possible to fish trout (small) in the river. This free. Nearest town is Førde which is 30 mins away. Haukedalsvatnet is about 500 meters away from the cabin, where you can buy a fishing license. Here is a nice place to find peace.

The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full job and have four small children.

On this former small farm you can enjoy the silence with wild sheep and deer close to the house. The house is located a few minutes from the majestic sea cliff, and with a direct view to, Hornelen. There is a fireplace in the living room and it comes with firewood that can be used if it gets cold. There is also electric heating in every room. Bed linen and cleaning are included in the price.
