Craigieburn garden bothy is a glamping-type single room bothy in a lovely 6-acre garden in beautiful Moffatdale, a great location for walkers and cyclists. The garden has woodlands, waterfalls, wildlife and exceptional planting for you to roam in. The bothy has no mains water or electricity so is a real alternative experience, with separate flush toilet and washing facilities. Otherwise all home comforts are provided with double bed, kitchenette and wood-burning stove to create a cosy atmosphere

The Gardeners Cottage @ Corvisel - cosy & quirky!

The Gardeners Cottage is set within the walled gardens of Corvisel House, built by Rear Admiral John McKerlie in 1829. We have restored the cottage in a vintage, quirky style with Donegal & Harris tweed soft furnishings & floral accents to reflect the glorious garden outside! It's located at the edge of Newton Stewart so very handy for evening strolls to the eateries in town. You can take walks in our small forest from the courtyard & hang out in the walled garden - green fingers are welcomed!!

Unfortunately no dogs/children/ infants are allowed as we are a working sheep farm & surrounded by water. Mongolian Yurt on the edge of the Galloway Forest

Our traditional Mongolian yurt is located on pasture land at our home on the edge of the Galloway Forest, a Dark Sky Park. With sunset views in one direction & the peaks of the Southern Uplands in the other, enjoy the panorama or sit by the River Cree, which crosses our land. Relax in the wood fired hot tub, sauna & plunge pool (extra fee applies). 10 mins from Loch Trool, mountain bike trails, wild swimming spots & hiking routes, guests are perfectly placed to explore this unspoilt region.

Our huts are bespoke ‘off grid’ Shepherds huts located in idyllic surroundings on the banks of unspoilt Loch Ken, SW Scotland Enjoy the simple pleasures of slow living in our eco-friendly huts, spend the evening watching the sunset over the loch from the deck or outdoor fire pit at the edge of the loch. A romantic getaway or rural escape, in a beautiful secluded spot where you can star gaze under our dark sky. Private bathroom.

Wigtown, Beautiful solar powered Yurt

Dumfries and Galloway dark skies park is a stunning location to get away from it all on our eco friendly off grid small holding. The yurt is solar powered with 12vt lights and has a wood burning stove, shower room and composting toilet. The yurt has a double bed and three singles (all with down duvets) so sleeps 4 x1 or 1x2 and 3x1 . The chemical free, DIY hottub is very private and for the exclusive use of our guests, only available for bookings of 3 nights or longer
