Craigieburn garden bothy is a glamping-type single room bothy in a lovely 6-acre garden in beautiful Moffatdale, a great location for walkers and cyclists. The garden has woodlands, waterfalls, wildlife and exceptional planting for you to roam in. The bothy has no mains water or electricity so is a real alternative experience, with separate flush toilet and washing facilities. Otherwise all home comforts are provided with double bed, kitchenette and wood-burning stove to create a cosy atmosphere

The Gardeners Cottage @ Corvisel - cosy & quirky!

The Gardeners Cottage is set within the walled gardens of Corvisel House, built by Rear Admiral John McKerlie in 1829. We have restored the cottage in a vintage, quirky style with Donegal & Harris tweed soft furnishings & floral accents to reflect the glorious garden outside! It's located at the edge of Newton Stewart so very handy for evening strolls to the eateries in town. You can take walks in our small forest from the courtyard & hang out in the walled garden - green fingers are welcomed!!

Nestled in a secluded glen surrounded by mountains and forest, comfortable family holiday accommodation in a detached cottage. Close to the Galloway Forest park, an excellent base for walking, mountain biking and star gazing due to the dark skies. The famous Southern Upland Way walking route is accessible on foot from the cottage along with other beautiful hill walking, including some impressive peaks with breathtaking views. Ivy Bank Studio, run by Mary & Jonathan, is an attached studio room of Ivy Cottage. It is independent from the main Cottage. Which itself was built in 1795 from local stone. It is situated on a private no through road, located directly in front of the Gem Rock museum and cafe. The location of the studio room in Creetown offers excellent outdoor views across to Cairnsmore Hill & Wigtown Bay. Creetown itself is a welcoming tourist village ideal for those wishing to explore Dumfries & Galloway.

Kirkbrae is a beautiful victorian granite house, hosting guest accommodation which consists of a private area within the main house, including a bedroom, private bathroom and sitting area. Access is through a private external door and internal stairs leading to the first floor space. Amenities include parking, wifi and tea/coffee making facilities. Our peaceful location is within walking distance of a local community owned grocery store, Post Office, cafe and a theatre within New Galloway.

Wigtown, Beautiful solar powered Yurt

Dumfries and Galloway dark skies park is a stunning location to get away from it all on our eco friendly off grid small holding. The yurt is solar powered with 12vt lights and has a wood burning stove, shower room and composting toilet. The yurt has a double bed and three singles (all with down duvets) so sleeps 4 x1 or 1x2 and 3x1 . The chemical free, DIY hottub is very private and for the exclusive use of our guests, only available for bookings of 3 nights or longer

It is perfect for families or two couples, garden is fully enclosed (except for determined dogs). Kids have space to make dens, climb trees or toast marshmallows. In summer relax on the patio, In winter curl up with a book or board game and enjoy the stunning views from the cosy interior.
