Reconnect with nature at this memorable escape Dating back to 1163 we are renovating our watermill on the banks of the river Couesnon, (which flows into the bay of Mount Saint Michel ). Our Pigsty gite which over looks the river, is located in the grounds of our water Mill We are in rural Brittany at the heart of the farming community. The sound of running water and wildlife gives a location in which to unwind and take in nature, such as the kingfisher or Salamander should they be about!

In the Rennes/Fougères/Vitré triangle (about 20 minutes from each city),we welcome you to our authentic 55 m2 cottage,you will access through a small garden with a 15 m2 terrace. You will enter through the fitted kitchen,then in the living area with fireplace. Upstairs you will find one bedroom with two beds and one shower room with toilet. Enjoy the calm of the countryside with the services of a village in direct access. The accommodation is located behind our main residence.

Renovated while preserving the hedonistic identity of the place, the space is articulated around a 140 m2 room where you can swim, have lunch, relax or listen to music, and a large 40 m2 living room with billiards, 2 m diagonal TV, Canal+... virtual headset, video library, library. Built sometime in 1800 on the edge of the small village of Vieux-Viel in Brittany, this wonderful old schoolhouse stands in a large garden, surrounded by nature in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel / Emerald Coast. Lovingly renovated and modernised, environment friendly and contemporary. The house offers a special living experience. The house is certified by "Gîtes de France", our guests will find relaxation and peace here with a special charm and lush nature. 


Apartment in a farmhouse

Charming spacious and quiet apartment, on the first floor of our farmhouse. You will have a separate entrance, by an external staircase. Sheltered in your cocoon, you can enjoy the view of a wooded park on one side, and old stones on the other. Located in a forest-lined countryside, access to the road network is very easy (5 min from the highway, 17 min from Rennes, 40 min from Mont Saint Michel, 30 min from Fougères, 45 min from the forest of Brocéliande).

Small house

My place is good for couples and families. It is located in the center of a Rennes, Vitré, Fougères triangle: 25 min from Rennes, 20 min from Fougères and 15 min from Vitré. We are 1 hour from Saint Malo and Mont Saint Michel. You can park in the small courtyard just in front of the rental to get settled. Do not leave the car in this place during the day, it is our entrance. Parking possible in the church square 50 m above the accommodation.

Gite on three levels with courtyard and sunny garden. Large green space to share with outdoor games such as ping-pong or badminton. From the cottage you can hike mountain biking or walking. The bathroom as well as the toilet are located on the first floor. Half an hour from Mont Saint Michel, 3/4 of an hour from the Emerald Coast. Bicycles are available for your walks and also an inflatable stand-up paddle for the beach or the Boulet pond.

Small, private cabin

An invitation to travel, exotic and unique, in a cozy and natural atmosphere where wood and natural materials are omnipresent, this is what defines our little secret cabin. On your terrace, your private jacuzzi invites you to relax in 37°C water and enjoy a privileged view of nature. The small cabin turns into a small mountain chalet from November 1 until mid-March… I look forward to welcoming you.

It is in the centre of a very small village which has a bakery, small convenience shop, cafes and restaurants. It is a short walk to the beach. This is a convenient location for the Mont St Michel and exploring the Brittany/Normandie border.
