This lodge celebrates our hunting heritage and displays many animals harvested on or near this property.

The Pepper Shed

Welcome to "The Pepper Shed" named after our black lab. This is a unique utility shed with built-in living quarters located next to our family home located along the Cedar River. Beds are located in open loft upstairs and bathroom is located on the ground level. While staying, feel free to make yourself at home with private access to a patio, dog kennel, walk out balcony with full accommodations of Wi-Fi, TV with Roku, washer and dryer, outdoor grill and full kitchen.

Bluestem Corner Staytion

This unique place has a style all its own. Being the home of a former corner gas/service station, we remodeled the inside to make it quaint, comfortable, and entertaining for a passer through or visitor of the small town of Palmer. Enjoy your stay and experience everything the surrounding areas of Merrick, Howard, and Hall counties have to offer! Local Wineries, the State Fair, Crane Watching and so much more are within 30 minutes of our unique destination.

Get away out in the country for some rural rest and relaxation at our remodeled, historic, old District 28 schoolhouse. Cows, corn, and comfort. A touch of a hunters cabin but modern enough to be cozy for some good relaxation. All bedrooms are approximately the size of the beds that are in them. The low lighting can be disorienting and may cause you to sleep until noon. Make sure alarms are set if you are on a schedule.
