Walden is located in the middle of the unique coulissen landscape of the Frisian woods. Trees, hedges and wooded borders surround the meadows. With grasslands, water, and patches of forest in between. It looks cozy, those grasslands among the trees. Smûk, we say in Frisian. As many as 250 species of birds and many other animals live here. The area also received pingos as a gift from the Ice Age. Located in the middle of 2 national parks: Lauwersmeer and the Alde Feannen. Ideal cycling and hiking area.

Apartment Grutto is located on the 2nd floor and can accommodate up to 4 people, with living room/kitchen with sofa bed, separate bedroom and bathroom. Welcome also to our old farmhouse, where part of the former stable has been transformed into a charming B&B. Uniquely decorated with lots of art on the walls and a well-stocked bookcase. The b and b is located separately and closed off from the main house. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one B&B room. Breakfast included.

Welcome to Gruunlaand, our resting place, house and guesthouse with almost 3000m2 of land. A lovely spacious accommodation of 300m2 where you can stay as a group. In our barn we offer four bedrooms with 3 comfortable double beds and 2 single beds. There are four separate toilets, three bathrooms with shower, a kitchen with all the necessary appliances, and a living space that you can use to work, read and relax. Ps. The forest is calling! Warthog Family

Warthog Family is a unique holiday home, reminiscent of a small village. 'This village' is equipped for 1 to 5 people and is all alone for you an your partner, your family or your couple of friends! Warthog Family is beautifully situated on the edge of the forest on our nature campsite. This holiday home is approximately 20m2 in size and consists of three separate cottages. The cottages are connected by a spacious wooden terrace of 15 m2.

"Adults only" stay in horse stable with skyview

Stay on a farm with cows, horses, sheep, chickens and dogs. The B&B is unique, come and enjoy the National Park, beach, sea and the city of Haarlem a stone's throw away. A fantastic place to relax and enjoy the sky view from the bed in any weather. Rural and yet also close to the village. Horseback riding is not possible, but petting and visiting is of course possible!
