Historic house on the Charente

We welcome you to our "Maison du Gardien" ( The Caretaker’s House) a 19th Century distiller's house which has been lovingly renovated to create a place of contemporary design, contemplation and relaxation. Located next to our own home you can enjoy an evening meal on your own private terrace but also get the use of our pool, gym, bikes and parking on our gated property. The two bedroom house is light and airy with beautiful views over our garden which reaches down to the river Charente.

A charming stone building is framed by an entrance gate, revealing a gravel path leading to the front door. Large windows with shutters and potted plants enhance the exterior, while trees provide a backdrop against a bright blue sky.
