“Alma and Said are very hospitable and accommodating. The apartment is immaculately clean and tidy. Everything is as said in the photos. If you need anything, they are at a door of yours and can help and advise you. Their recommendations were very helpful and good. Thanks to them we enjoyed our stay very well. They repaired us for a shuttle between Visoko and the direct airport which saved us a lot of time ”
It is a big, bright and comfortable apartment with a balcony, two bedrooms, common area decorated in typical Bosnian style, and a fully equipped kitchen. All the windows are faced to Bosnian Pyramid of Sun. It is very close to all important objects that you may need, 300 m from the center of the city, but still it can provide you pleasant private time because It is placed in a very safe, residential area in quiet neighborhood where you can experience a spirit of a typical Bosnian home.
“Amra is a warm, attentive, considerate host with a great sense of humour; I cannot say enough positive things about her! She picked us up at the bus stop - actually, she was there before I managed to text her that we'd arrived! At the apartment she treated us to some of her home-made cherry brandy, which was delicious! We enjoyed a great conversation, as well as lovely Bosnian coffee, with Amra sharing perspectives, stories and history that we found most informative and enriching - plus she was happy to answer our questions. The apartment is her old family home, kept exactly as her mother maintained it. The embroidery on the walls is her mother's work, as well as crochet pieces and other bits. I loved staying in this former YU home, with genuine decor circa the 70s. So many Airbnbs now are modern, sparse, Ikea furnished apartments with no real character - this was a welcome opposite. The kitchen is well equipped, with basics like salt, pepper and coffee. There were plenty of clothes hangers and I was grateful to be able to use the washing machine. It is an easy walk into the main part of town, the location is a quiet residential area. Amra responds quickly to messages, communication was great. All in all a wonderful experience, we would gladly return. Such a pleasure to meet you Amra, your students are fortunate to have you!”
