La Tour du Canal Gîte – Small 13th century castle, facing the Canal du Midi, in an area of more than 2 hectares. Nestled in the heart of olive and almond trees. We open the doors to this very private estate, where there are two castles, one from the 13th century, the other from the 19th century, where we live. The large shaded park is appreciated on hot summer days, and is embellished with a large swimming pool. It is located 10 minutes from the City of Carcassonne and 3 minutes from Trèbes.

If you like peace and quiet and nature, then you've come to the right place; in fact, the road ends at the cottage. Beyond that, the paths wind through the pine forest and the hills among the Capitelles. You can discover them on foot, by mountain bike with or without a picnic. The cottage is located in a wine estate that you can visit. Former stable of the estate, this independent, air-conditioned cottage has a terrace with pergola and we provide you with our swimming pool (7.2 m x 3.7 m).

Our Garden Rooms are the Summer bedrooms of the house. Traditionally the family would move to the ground floor during the hotter months. The Apartment retains all of the original features, fireplace, high ceilings and crown mouldings give the place a lovely relaxing feeling of grandeur and a by gone era. With direct access to the gardens and pool you'll enjoy the 300 days of sunshine the Aude region receives every year.

The house has one floor, and consists of a nice 20 m² living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. Wi-Fi (fiber optic), linens and towels included. this place can accommodate vacationers and business travelers.

The house is located in a small quiet village located 8 km from Carcassonne. During your stay, you can visit the City of Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and walk along Lake Cavayère, which is very easy to access by a beautiful 5 km walk. The village is close to a highway exit. Many sites will be offered to you (Fonfroide Abbey, Minerve, Lagrasse, Cathar Castles etc.).
