“We had an amazing 2-night stay in guesthouse Akurgerdi. Sabine’s instructions and directions were really clear and helpful. The hot tub was definitely one of the highlights of our trip in Iceland, nothing beats having a bath in the evening with natural geothermal water after a long day of sightseeing! The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed. Thank you for the unforgettable stay! We will be back for sure on our next trip to Iceland.”
Beutiful room in very peaceful spot located in hveragerði. With access to kitchen and bathroom. Hveragerði is 30 min from reykjavik capital.
“Great hospitality from Gudrun. We didn't have internet connection the day we arrived, so we couldn't get in touch with Gudrun before. When we arrived at her home, she welcomed us really friendly. She's a really sociable person! We really loved her place! The room was cool, tidy and the beds super comfortable. We also liked that we could use the table for eating. The breakfast she served was also delicious. One of the best experiences we made with AirBnB so far. :) Jessica & Cédric (Switzerland)”
Located on the Golden Circle route but far enough away to escape the crowds. The cabin sits high on a hill with sweeping views over the valley and lake far below from the spacious deck with a luxurious hot tub. The cabin has two bedrooms plus a sleeping loft, with plenty of room for the whole family (up to 8 people). The beds in the two bedrooms can be arranged as either two single beds or a large double bed. The sleeping loft has a double bed and a double sofa bed.
“Stayed here with my wife, son and daughter-in-law. What a great location with stunning views and within easy reach of some fabulous points of interest. Sadly we didn't see the Northern Lights whilst in Iceland this time but I would imagine it would be magical sitting on the hot tub looking at them - the hot tub was a real plus point. Beds were very comfy - the quilts lovely and warm and the property centrally heated which was very welcome considering we had bitterly cold winds for the majority of our visit. Recommend a visit to the Viking restaurant (20 minutes drive).”
